This is a rare and important solid gold fully hallmarked dog show medal awarded to a famous Norwegian Elkhound in 1929, this medal is inscribed to the front “The Scottish Kennel Club 1929 with a detail of a Scottish Deerhounds Head” the Scottish Deerhound being the emblem of the Scottish Kennel Club, to the rear it is inscribed “SKC Show won By Mr Hoods Romana Of Mossgiel” the medal is in very good condition and is approx. 1.25″ diameter, Romana Of Mossgiel was a famous Elkhound born in 1928 and was a winner at Crufts dog show.
