1990s USSR HISTORY OF ROCKET ENGINES TECHNOLOGY DETAIL SPECIAL REPORT W/ PHOTOS

This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development of the H1, J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle “SSME” development in 1968, Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine the RS-25. Mr. Thomson in 1990 joined Aerojet as Chief Scientist for advanced propulsion and worked directly with Russian companies on rocket engines for future launch systems (Following the East German Wall being taken down. This listing is for a USSR ROCKET ENGINES Technology Detail Special Report Second Edition. The 37 page Report includes multiple color photos as well as diagrams and other details relating to the history of rocket engines for the USSR. Report is in Excellent overall condition for use/age and storage with some minor storage wear. Clear front cover has some wear on corners.
